Can a fibreglass crack be welded or must the tank be replaced?
Most fibreglass cracks can be welded if they are under thirty centimetres. We abrade both sides, weld with a compatible fibre rod and allow the repair to cure before testing.
What if the crack is at the water inlet valve?
We remove the valve first and take out the inlet pipe, weld the opening from inside and out, then fit a new valve after cleaning the thread. We fill the tank and let the repair hold full pressure before handover.
