Does chemical treatment weaken fibreglass tanks rapidly?
More slowly than heat alone but the compound causes the inner surface to dry out. We choose the weld resin to match the type of chemical treatment used in the tank.
Can the tank be welded while it is still connected to the station?
No, all inlet and outlet pipes must be disconnected first and the tank fully drained. Disconnection and draining takes at least two hours before welding can begin.
