Should the desert tank have white paint to keep water cool?
No, black paint absorbs heat and white reflects it, but water inside a closed tank cools slowly at night. We use five-centimetre foam insulation under the cover instead of relying on paint colour.
If power fails at the pump, will the tank provide water until electricity returns?
