How do I know my underground tank needs cleaning if the water looks and tastes normal?
Taste and colour change are late signs. Sediment and algae build up on walls long before they affect visible water quality. Periodic cleaning on a schedule is safer than waiting for symptoms to appear.
Can an underground tank be cleaned without emptying it completely?
Full emptying is necessary to reach the walls and floor and disinfect them properly. Cleaning with water still present prevents removal of settled sediment and scale on the surface.
Does Kuwait's hard water speed up contamination inside underground tanks?
Yes. Mineral-heavy water leaves a lime layer on tank walls that becomes a surface for bacterial growth. This makes the pre-work camera check useful for assessing how much scale has formed.
Does tank cleaning and epoxy lining have to happen in the same visit?
No. Cleaning is a standalone step carried out on its own when needed. Epoxy lining follows as a separate step if the post-clean inspection reveals the surface needs additional protection.
